Dull & dehydrated skin

Hydrating gel serum texture with water droplets

Dull skin is usually two problems wearing one face: a build-up of tired surface cells, and a thirsty barrier underneath. The fix is satisfyingly direct, polish the surface, flood the skin with hydration, and keep the rhythm, which is why this is the pathway with the most immediate payoff on the menu.

The pathway

  • Instant reset: microdermabrasion ($59) or dermaplaning ($79) clears the dull surface layer in one visit.
  • Deep hydration: the Signature Facial ($189) layers hydrating serums and a nourishing mask, with the Milk Peel ($95) adding radiance for tired, city-worn skin.
  • Glow maintenance: LED with the Bio Gel Mask ($79) and a Mini Facial every 4 to 6 weeks keep the glow as the default rather than the exception.

Home truths

No studio treatment out-hydrates a poor home routine. Part of this pathway is a short, honest audit of what you are using: often a simpler routine with the right hydrator and daily SPF does more than a shelf of actives. Chloe will tell you what to stop buying as readily as what to add.

Frequently asked

What gives the fastest glow before an event?

Dermaplaning plus a hydrating facial is the classic same-week combination, and the Red Carpet Radiance package ($350) is the full event-preparation version, best a few days out.

Why does my skin look dull even though I moisturise?

Surface cell build-up scatters light no matter how much moisturiser sits on top, and dehydration is about water in the skin, not oil on it. Polish plus hydration addresses both, which is why the combination works where products alone stall.
