Skin Needling with Dermapen Pro 4
Skin needling at The Skin Method uses the Dermapen Pro 4, a gold-standard microneedling device, to create thousands of controlled micro-channels that prompt the skin's own renewal response. It is the studio's results-driven program for skin texture, acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines and overall skin strength. Full face is $259, currently $199 on the winter special, with neck and décolletage add-ons available.
How skin needling works
The Dermapen Pro 4 glides across the skin while its fine needles create micro-channels at a precisely controlled depth. Your skin responds the way it knows how: by producing fresh collagen and elastin as those channels close.
Performed in a planned series, this renewal process helps to:
- Refine skin texture and enlarged pores
- Soften the appearance of acne scarring
- Reduce the look of fine lines
- Improve overall tone, strength and glow
Because it works with your own biology rather than resurfacing the skin away, needling suits most skin types, including many that are not candidates for stronger resurfacing, and this is always confirmed at assessment.
Pricing
Prices are exactly as published in the booking calendar.
- Full face skin needling - 1 hour, $259
- Winter special: full face needling - 40 minutes, $199 while the seasonal offer runs
- Neck add-on - 25 minutes, $79
- Décolletage add-on - $99
For optimal results, treatments are performed in a series, typically 3 to 6 sessions spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Chloe will map your realistic number at your first visit rather than overpromising a single-session change.
Why winter is needling season
Lower UV, cooler skin and more time indoors make winter the ideal window for a needling series: your skin can rebuild without fighting sun exposure, and you arrive at summer with the results. That is exactly why the winter special brings the full face session to $199.
What to expect on the day
Your skin is cleansed and prepped, and comfort is managed throughout; most people describe the sensation as a light vibration with mild scratchiness in bonier areas.
- Expect pinkness like a light sunburn for 24 to 48 hours
- Skin may feel warm and tight the first evening
- Makeup is best avoided for 24 hours; your simple aftercare routine is talked through before you leave
Most people are comfortably back to normal life the next day, making needling one of the most manageable advanced treatments for busy schedules.
Does skin needling hurt?
Most people find it far more comfortable than expected. The Dermapen Pro 4 moves quickly at a controlled depth, and sensation is managed throughout. Bonier areas like the forehead can feel scratchier, and your comfort is checked as Chloe works.
How many sessions will I need?
Texture and glow improvements are often visible after one or two sessions, while acne scarring and fine lines are usually treated as a series of 3 to 6 sessions about a month apart. Chloe will give you an honest number for your skin at assessment, and results are never guaranteed.
Is there downtime?
Expect pinkness for 24 to 48 hours, similar to light sun exposure, with skin feeling warm and tight the first evening. Most people return to normal activities the next day and simply keep sun protection up between sessions.
Can I add my neck or décolletage?
Yes. Neck needling is $79 and décolletage is $99 as add-ons to a full face session. They are popular in a series where sun exposure has left crepey texture below the jawline.
Who should not have skin needling?
Active acne breakouts in the treatment area, certain skin conditions, and some medications need assessment first. That is part of why every needling plan at The Skin Method starts with a skin check rather than going straight to the device.
